Christmas Craft Fairs in Reading?

Hi all,

I'm stuck!

Does anyone know of any craft fairs, vilage fetes or school fairs from now up until Christmas? I'm looking in the reading, Wokingham, Maidenhead, Newbury, Bracknell kind of area! I'm doing Marlow on 9th August and Swallowfield show Aug Bank Holiday week end but not got anything else booked in. Events that will have children attending are particularly good for me because I lot of my stuff is popular with them.

Also, I'm looking for outlets - shop shelf space etc, prob in the same sort of area - anyone know of anything?

hi I cannot help you because I am looking in the same area... and actually I am stuck - I will be at Marlow`s but only viewing as I did not know how to get the stall there...

but I am going to the one near Newbury 31 August and to Oxford one 9th November and that is it...

if you know of any more could you post details please?

I am new to this!!

Im Alix, and Ive been making bracelets and handmade cards since being a full time Mummy to my little boy.

Im looking at places that I can sell my products, mainly Christmas Fairs - but Im not sure where to start looking. Im based in Theale, Would be fab to go/meet up with someone as Im quite new to all this as I said, so does anyone know of any near and around my way?

Coincidently Im doing an art market in Reading at a bar near the station this sunday. Their tagline is 'Food, music' art'.

Im petrified!!Its on EVERY sunday.Ive been a couple of times, its quite quiet, theres 1 permanents stall.I reckon if we can get more people going itl be a nice little earner especially on the run up to Halloween/Christmas.
Best of all, its FREE and you can use the tables there.

Just remembered, theres something going on in Woodley where you can have a stall.Wokingham have started an arts trail this year.Lockey farm have an outdoor event which has craft stalls but not sure how long that goes on for or when.Wokingham also have a winter carnival where you can have a stall.

Best to google these places and see what it says with relation to art/craft.

Hi Seahorse, let us know how the free market stall thing goes this Sunday as I'm about an hour away and might consider it another time. Are you planning on getting there early, I would have thought so to try and get a good place. Good luck for Sunday and keep us posted, Linda

It only opens half an hour pre opening for people who want to set up.
Its not busy at all, only 1 permanent stall so Im in no rush.Its a bar so its quite a big place with plenty of tables.I really should get on with finishing making things.Im still waiting for bits in the post.
