  • The countdown beginneth! Argghh

My first craft fair for years is on Sunday and at the moment I am at the bottom of a very large hole with fat quarters, felt, thread, buttons, labels, lollipop sticks etc, etc, etc to climb through. I am at the 'have I made enough, I think I'll just make a few more' stage.

Any calming, reassuring words out there that anyone would like to send my way?

    Sharon

Tip Top has said it all!!! Hope it goes well. Just enjoy the day. I am always running round making new stock before a craft fair (one this weekend) when there really is no need for it and I have plenty anyway. Although with doing cards I like to have ones that are relevant to the event - this weekend is a Vintage Fayre and so I find my photos of Lancaster and Spitfire plans always goes well, so I need to ensure I have a good stock of them. But apart from that no one can second guess what people are going to be looking for - and believe me whatever you have someone will ask for the one thing you haven't got.

      Have a ball and enjoy.

It's always a bit daunting but you'll wonder why you worried so much!

Add up the sales value of your stock and you'll probably think you've done enough?!?! Just remember to write up a checklist in case you haven't done it yet, to make sure you don't forget anything. At the last fair, I forgot the key to my till - fortunately the money was kept somewhere else!

              Hi,

I think these other posts just about sum it up. All I would add is that you can always take orders and contact people at a later date ...

... and of course to wish you the very best of luck ...you will enjoy yourself, don't worry.
