  • Hello,
I'm from Birmingham and I am learning to make artdolls. Anything connected is what I pursue, from painting, moulding, sculpting, modelling, sticking, styling hair, sewing little clothes, making dolls eyes etc etc.
    I also love all art from A - Z.
I would also like to say thanks for this wonderful forum and it's great talented people!

    • Hi, I'm in Bristol. I sew Waldorf dolls, draw pictures, make clothes and I'm just starting an epic quilting challenge. I really want to make a pair of shoes too.

      • Hi Popcorn, nice to meet you.
I have only just started over the last 6 months or so. I have been watching tutorials on youtube and I also joined OOAKguild online but it has temporarily closed down for maintenance. There were many tips and tutorials and blogs which led off from it.
I use Living Doll polymer clay over an armature. As yet I have not produced anything spectacular, but each one is getting better. I have made 5 up 'til now.
You are right, dolls are soooo addictive.
At the moment I am experimenting with making angel wings with cold porcelain, to add to my polymer (6") dolls next Christmas because this year I found absolutely nothing on the internet; neither suppliers nor tuts for white wings of this size, so I thought I had better start having a go all by myself lol.
I saw your waldorf dolls and they are lovely.

I do all sorts of crafting including scrapbooking, jewellery making, card making, cross stitching, cushion making...The list could go on!
Looking to get into glass engraving/etching as my boyfriend bought me a Dremel from work as part of my Christmas & birthday presents.

I'm 20 years old but looking for friends of all ages with whom I can share ideas, advice, creations and just have a general laugh with!

I'm June, originally from Spain but have been living in Manchester for a couple of years.

I'm into felt brooches and fabrics, determined to learn how to handle my sewing machine this year.

                                Looking forward to meeting everyone!
