  • bath bombs to stink bombs!!

    I was making bath bombs last night..not for the 1st time.. and when i came to removing them from the moulds OH GOSH!! what a stink!!
    Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?? I got no idea!!
    The batch I made before the stinky's were fine and the ones after this batch were also fine..
    Please help I don't need my house to smell like that again!!

    So, was the stinky batch made with a different fragrance or essential oil than the others?

      The only thing it could be is that you dont like the scent you used!!! Or combination of scents used!
      Ive made them for years and thats the only thing thats would ever have me reeling like that! Generally though, on the other hand, youd know whether you liked the scent you were using or else you wouldnt use it I guess so on that note IM STUMPED hehe!!!

        Was it like an egg stink ? I'm thinking did you use an ultramarine blue colorant? I believe that is the one that can cause the rotten egg smell.The liquid blue colorant is just ultramarine blue dissolved in glycerin. It reacts with the citric acid for a rotten egg smell. Food coloring should work fine or mica's.
