Are you looking for them to be hand made, because if you just wanted them to be in the middle of the egg I saw quality street are doing eggs again with the sweets in the middle.
Ok this maybe obvious but i'm just checking:D

Ooooh my mum used to make fabby sweetie filled Easter eggs when I was little :) We never really 'did' Easter except for these and I have fond memories of both her sweetie filled eggs and a half chocolate egg pilled high with sweeties, wrapped in cellophane and finished with a bow :) And she claims nowadays that she's not a creative/crafty person

Yup - I've done it with my Mum before, using acetate moulds. Worked fine for us. But you do need the chocolate to be quite "gloopy", to get a properly thick coat.

Nowadays, I make wooden ones! :) Little wooden eggs with miniature easter-y pictures on them, like this :

You can open up any sealed egg by using a hot knife. Just let a good thick knife sit in a jug of boiling water for a couple of minutes, and it'll melt-and-cut through the seam for you.
