Hi

Please help, have an idea to get the kids to paint some ready made plain pottery mugs on the outside and give them as their Christmas pressies to Granny etc (Credit crunch etc!) A friend in France showed me what paints she used for her baked in the oven mugs but don't know where to start - an online source would be good so any ideas of what paints i should be looking for and where etc

Many thanks in advance
Jen

my children have done this a few times for teachers at their school. You can buy mugs very cheaply at Ikea then use pebeo ceramic paints or pebeo pens are much easier for little fingers (if you can still get them). You then put the mugs in an oven on a low heat .
I filled the mugs with chocolates and wrapped them in cellophane.
I think they make great gifts.
