Oooh I'm feeling so pleased with myself at the moment. I'm actually getting some makes finished for a change! It won't last, I can guarantee it because the girls break up from school on Friday and then I probably won't get a darned thing done 'till September!

So what do you think of these? I've got them listed on my website for 9.99 (inc p&p) do you you think it's too much for three cards? I think it's a fair price considering they are all handsewn but if anyone thinks otherwise then I'm all ears!

I think they are really nice and 9.99 is not that bad really its 3.33 a card in fact it's less becaused that includes postage as well. If you think of some of the cards people will pay 3 for in WH Smiths etc.... I think your prices are very resonable, good luck:D

I love these cards!

I also think 9.99 is a fair price for them. Hope they sell well - am sure they will, they are lovely

Thanks. I find pricing my cards a difficult task. I just have to hope that people appreciate how much work goes into them. I even have family and friends who wince when I tell them what I price them at so I really try to be brave and put them up for what I think they're worth!

If they don't sell (and I'm not saying they won't) you can always reduce your prices. And I think they are a very fair price too.

They are really beautiful - and I agree, a fair price

Yes they are lovely!! Different!!! I think the price is fair but I still think a certain age group thinks that hand crafted should mean 'cheap'. No one seems to appreciate the time and trouble taken with the cards - they don't want to know that bit!!!!!! Good look with them, will be interested to see how you get on. Sue xx:D

They're lovely and 9-99 is a fair price. I'm sure you'll sell them.

They're great, I think that the people who will be attracted to them being eco-friendly won't have a problem paying that price for them. If you are packaging them, I would put a label in there saying that they are hand-sewn with love or something so that people can appreciate how much work has gone into them. Good luck with selling them but I'm sure you won't need it as they are beautiful. x

Theyre really lovely Nat, so fresh and deceptively simple and contemporary, I would think they'll go down really well. Pricing is hard but, if anything, I think theyre getting a bargain for handsewn cards there

I think Sazzle's idea is great, really focus on the handsewn aspect to show the work that goes into them

Thanks Sazzle and Shaz, that's a great idea! Sometimes when I'm sitting there sewing for hours on end in the evenings I think to myself "all this effort for a card?" then I remember that I do it because I enjoy it. Maybe it would make people more appreciative if I made them more aware of the work that goes into them!
I've got some new ones that I'm dying to show everyone but my OH has gone away and taken my camera with him, so I can't photograph anything until Weds :(
