Hi there!
I would just like to let everyone know about a fab book i bought- great for those who love making sewing crafts! It has loads of lovely projects and all the templates in the back
It is called 'Sew Pretty Homestyle'- I bought mine off an ebay shop but have seen it on amazon too.
If anybody else knows of any good sewing craft books please let me know!!!!

Hi Lora

I borrowed three books from the library a few weeks back and 'Sew Pretty Homestyle' was definitely my favourite of the three. I made the make-up pouch to try out my new sewing machine and want to try several of the other projects (needle book case, little dog, slippers etc). It's not often that you find a book with something different in it. Lots of nice things to make as Christmas presents!

Best Wishes

Julia :)

I've had this book for a while now and it is the prettiest book ever! Love everything in it and they are fairly easy things to make. Will be great for xmas gifts for my family. Just looking at it cheers me up:)

Thankyou Ladylora I had actually ordered one and I am pleased to hear how good it is. Due tomorrow I think. So many nice craft books there I could have spent a fortune (If I had one).

Hi again,
I went into a bookshop the other day and was pleased to find they have new books in the sew pretty range!! They have a 'sew pretty christmas' and 'sew pretty fabrics' out now! (which unfortunately i did not have the cash to buy at the time) but which also have lots of lovely little sewing crafts- especially great for prezzies!

that book looks lovely!

I also quite like 'Yeah! I made it myself!' by Eithne Farry - although it's more to do with clothes and bags.

I bought one off the net - don't know how I did it but got two instead. (Charged for two as well). So if anyone wants one a little cheeper PM me and we can come to some arrangement as I don't know anyone to give for Christmas gift.
