View Full Version : New Dip Dye Cluctch Bag

Finally, my latest bag is ready! :)
I used recycled cotton and did my first dip dye which I think the result is not that bad. I would have liked that the darker shade of blue would be more intense but I left the fabric a whole hour as the instructions suggested but that's what I got. Guess the yarn was quite thick...
I also used plastic canvas to stiffen the bag and give a real clutch look to it, finishing off with a cluster bead detail and magnetic closure.
What do you think?

Love it. Think the colour change is delicate and subtle and works very well, and the colours tie in wonderfully with the beads. Really, really nice. And the recycled cotton will be a good selling point.

Thank you! I am really happy about this bag!

I used Dylon Cold Dye in "French blue" and Dylon Cold Dye Fix. It's not too difficult, you just need to follow the instructions and have a bit of patience ;)
