Have you got a website that you’re interested in buying from ?

If you use secure methods of payments e.g. paypal / selected credit cards then you’re pretty well insured for at least one month...

I find a website yesterday. It is Bebimi. It lists many jewelry vendors on its webpage, so I need not searching jewelry websites all over the web.

Maybe there is a little misunderstanding. I do not want to advertise for any website. I just share my experiences with others.

How do you think about ICE and Mondera? They are both ranked high level at the list of Bebimi.

When buying online, there are some indicators that can have influence on a customer's confidence in the safety of an order.

-the first is the most obvious. It is based on any previous orders made by the customer or by others who have shared their experiences. If the order was processed quickly and efficiently, then a certain level of trust has been gained in the vendor.

-Many vendors display a 'Shop safe' icon on screen. This is a shopping directory which checks the security, delivery, range of goods and prices to ensure the e-shop is safe to purchase from. Those which fail these checks will not be listed.

-Many customers can be put at ease if a professional and well-recognised payment system in incorporated into the websites point of sale. Worldpay and Paypal are widely considered to be relatively secure.

-lastly you should check the websites policies on delivery and payment to see if there are an discrepancies.

I hope that this information has helped. I have been involved in selling online for quite a while now and can understand a user's insecurities, especially when purchasing a high order good, such as a diamond ring.

look out for a little yellow keypad when paying online also use trusted retailers - www.wooch.co.uk sells jewellery and uses SECpay - this is a third party which takes the credit/debit details which means they stay safe with them and no one else cna hack in! there is also worldpay look out for these two compnays when paying as tehy arte highly reliable

When purchasing through a secure site you will notice that the address in the address bar of your web browser will change from http:// to https:// https means the site is secure.

As Jonathon mentioned, PayPal and WorldPay and recognised for their security.

Definitely check the http:// to https:// otherwise your credit card information could be stolen.

If you have a specific site in mind, you could search for any complaints on the web with that site.
