does anyone know where i can find tassel findings? I have seen one on spoiltrottenbeads.co.uk but bit pricey for a beginner. It was 4.50 on there.

ooooh, they look quite cool, but what do they do?

For a simple look you could attach beads or pearls to the ends (wire beads with pins as if making charms) or you can attach them all up and down the chains if you are feeling adventurous. Then just attach the tassell unit onto a chain or other necklace base like thong.

I've got some too, in silver or gold plated. Another idea is to attach them to earrings. You can make really quick jewellery with tassels.

i keep looking at all the lovely things on everyones beadsites but got to wait till august my birthday before i can start my hoarding as beading is all new to me i want some books first to find out exactly what i need and go from there then i will be unstopable its just storing and hiding it from my hubby i have so much card and scrapbook making stuff that my craft room will soon be unusable because i wont be able to get in the door

The great thing about beading is that you can put them on anything... (even cards... so there's your excuse to start hoarding :D)

4.50? eek! That does seem a lot. I use tassel filigrees on eggs - for doors & opensings. I assume the are the same sort of thing. Only I pay about 30p for mine!!
