I would recommend www.spellboundbead.co.uk (http://www.spellboundbead.co.uk)

They have an array of products. I use them for most of my beads and even travel to their shop in Lichfield occasionally :D

I think they should start paying us for advertising on here - we seem to be linking spellbound everyday atm!
:p
I agree! I love that shop - full of lovely beads and findings. They do some great kits that you might like as a starter?

But be warned - once you start with the beads you won't be able to stop!! :D

Hi Craftyjan,

It's always difficult to know where to start, and although I don't have instruction guides etc on my site, it can be good for beginners in that I have no minimum order, offer low packs sizes and low P&P.

So you don't have to spend a fortune to get started, but it's always good to have a look around to what's available.

If you still feel unsure try finding a Bead Show in your area, and see if you can buy 'BEAD magazine' for ideas

I've recently added a few little 'DIY' kits to my website especially aimed at people wanting to try out working with a few beads...
