Hiya everyone:)
I've just joined the forum, and was hoping that someone out there could give me a recipe for a 1Kg of Shea Butter CP Soap. The recipes I have looked at are for large batches and some of the ingredients I wouldn't know where to buy. Thank you. Myra88

if you want to tell me the recipes you have looked out I can work out a 1kg batch for you, or you could use www.soapcalc.com (http://www.soapcalc.com) to downsize your recipe and get the right caustic soda amount.

It's really all about the preferences you want in your soap.

or how about this for a quick recipe
380 grams of water
141.65 grams of caustic soda
50 grams of castor oil,
190 grams of coconut oil
460 grams of olive oil
150 grams of shea butter
150 grams of palm kernel oil

this will give you a relatively hard soap with a good conditioning, with nice lather,

Mai has posted a good recipe.

The best thing to do Myra88 is to decide on how much you would like to spend on the soap and what raw materials are easily available and how much shea butter you want in your soap.

As Mai mentioned, it would help if you posted your recipe and had it resized.
