Facebook listing help needed please
I want to set up a face book page where people can become "a fan"
I think maybe I am missing something, somewhere because FB keeps telling me I have to pay?
Is there a way of doing this without having to pay?
Thanks

Jane if you go to my FB fan page part way down on the left hand side there is a link 'Create a page for my business'. You are already a fan of mine so should be able to link through.

OK, I,ve done all that, but it still doesn't have a "become a fan" button?
It is driving me insane

Did you create a page? http://www.facebook.com/advertising/?pages#/pages/create.php
I think this is different to creating a profile for your business (or a group)...and the page will have the 'become a fan' button at the top....
Apologies if you've done all this already

I just wrote this blog post for you and the other crafters who use Facebook fan pages as promotion tools. I thought it might be useful in understanding one of the many ways Facebook can be used:

This might come as unsolicited advice so feel free to tell me to shut my pie hole if you're not interested!

Is this what you are looking for http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php
I created a fan page for my biz, http://www.facebook.com/pages/card-t...8418956?ref=mf no paid advertsing involved, but they really don't make it easy. In fact I am really not sure what I am doing with it but I do have a fan page.
You need to click the brand product or organization when you create a fan page I think.
I rememer going around and around like you when I tried.

I don't know if any of you have heard about 'Link Love' but it's where you list your Facebook fan page, blogs, twitter etc under 'discussions' in FB and everyone leaves their links there after 'fanning' you and basically you check this list and fan everyone in there. I have a few in mine now so if you fan me you can fan everyone else in there too to boost your numbers. If you've already a fan just leave your details.
