Cavern Walks in Liverpool has a brand new penguin, Sparkly, as part of the Go Penguins art extravaganza.

Go Penguins was commissioned by Liverpool city council as a fitting finale to the city's Year of the Environment. Artists, children and businesses have been involved in designing and creating a 'Go Penguin' as part of a trail dotted around the city.

Created by local jewellery designer Claudia Pink with hundreds of jewels, crystals and vintage stones, 'Sparkly' truly is a sight for sore eyes this Christmas. Claudia sites the art-deco design movement and the Chrysler building in New York as the main sources of her inspiration.
