Children's Half Term workshop programme at Creative Open Workshops, Birmingham
Creative Open Workshops (C.O.W) are hosting a series of children's craft workshops during October Half Term (24 Oct - 1 Nov). They are based at the Custard Factory in Birmingham, where they have a shop unit from which they run most of their sessions. The place is brightly decorated with colourful bunting and amazing tablecloths.
They encourage parents/guardians to join in with their children to promote positive relationships. Alternatively the accompanying adult can check out the little shops in the Custard Factory or relax with a cup of coffee.
I will be facilitating one of the sessions, where you can learn how to make a finger crochet jelly fish!! There's also: ceramic decorations, felt bug pins, cuddly softies, porcelain button making, Matisse colour monsters, star shaped booklets, CoBrA word paintings and how to be an explorer...
So do come along and let others know about this fun week!!

Hi Carol,
The workshops are for children aged 6 to 12 and it's £10 (per child) per session. (drinks are included!)
Hope this helps. If you need anymore information, just let me know.

I'm involved with a primary school in Birmingham that is holding it's Christmas Fayre on Fri 3 December, 6-8.30pm.
As part of the festive fun and cheer of this fundraising event, we will be having a range of craft, gift and food stalls. We would really like it to be an opportunity for the children and their families to buy hand-crafted and if possible locally made items.
Could you recommend anyone who you think would be interested in having a stall at the event to sell their creations?
Thanks

Hi,
I would advertise it on this forum and on Stallfinder. Other than that, you could contact Handmade Birmingham and see if they have any suggestions.
Apologies for not being more helpful, I left the Handmade market quite some time ago and no longer have those contacts.
Good luck with your event!
