soap makers store ??
hi, has anyone ordered from the soap makers store recently. I used to order from them but they seemed to go a bit off the boil re stock & delivery time. I understand that someone else has now taken over and hope the problems were just between transfer 'blips'. any one got any latest info as i need lots of stuff!!

I had trouble with the online checkout system a few weeks ago and phoned them...they have been taken over by Aroma Trading (a long established Essential Oil supplier) and the gentleman I spoke to explained that they had to transport all the stock from the old warehouse. He said that some of the stock wasn't usable so they are sorting through everything and trying to get the webste updated. It did take a while to get my order (used to be almost next day but it took a week - was partly my fault though cos my card got rejected *blush*) but the guy was really helpful and we got there in the end.
It must be a nightmare for them trying to organise and he did say they were trying to source some better quality products etc.
I've avoided ordering from them the last few months because it's a bit irratic but they were always the best for some things and some of their prices were very good...so I will persevere...
Might be worth giving them a ring to ask about expected delivery date and stock etc...

I dealt with John Black at Aroma Trading for years and they were always extremely efficient and fairly priced suppliers. I think the changeover has been quite a challenge but I am sure things will level out very quickly.

just a quick update. I eventually ordered from soap makers store on sunday and received a full order (with a lovely free gift!) today, so it looks like they are back in business. The prices for basics - coconut oil, citric acid etc are excellent too - so a recommendation from me.
