Another jumper

A few yeard ago I knitted Bob an Aaron cardy and had loads of wool left. I came across it a couple of weeks ago sodecided to knit this. I am quite pleased with it. It makes me a bitsad knitting jumpers because every time I knitted myselfone my sister who is in Heaven used to say 'oh you are clever I wish I could knit'. She always ended up with the jumpers because she was so lovely so each time I knit they are really for her!! I hope she likes it!!! Sue xx ps. There is still some wool left!!! I think it multiplies during the night!!!

half finished knitting projects
Well, I have a sweater I knitted for my son when he was six - he just turned 18....
It's beautiful if i do say so myself, but I got hung up with the sleeves...I counted, I used markers, I measured, I checked and double checked, but somehow I never managed to get two sleeves the same length - and it bugged the heck out of me...there are still four sleeves (not attached, heh) in the bag with the body of the sweater - none of them are the same length...just about half an inch to an inch difference...maybe I will one day get it finished and I can give it to my grandson!!
I think I will take a look at it tody - maybe now, with all my work at perfecting my mistake making, I can remedy this situation and get two of the sleeves attached FINALLY. It's a stormy day, so a good day to look at it and maybe work on it. Ahh, but the memory of the frustration...yoiks."Why fit in when you were born to stand out?" ~Dr. Seuss
