...all you young things!
1981....broke my leg three days into a skiing trip, and spent three weeks hobbling around Bardonecchia being spoled by my hosts. Bliss....been in love with Italy ever since. Spent recovery time in Somerset with my Nan afterwards and met Himself!

I also feel old as was born in 72....
The early 80's sort of passed me by as was doing the usual school stuff, so in 1986, I began studying for GCSE's and it was the first year they were introduced. And yes, we were the guinea pigs........:D

I'm rubbish at remembering the year things happened, I have to figure out how old I was first, so that makes me 14 in 1980 (YES, VERY VERY OLD!) and that was the age I was when mum died bless her but I know she's still with me so thats fine :)

In 1987 we were the last year to do CSE and O level exams.
My eldest child was born in 1990, that makes me feel old, shes just left college and started work with my hubby.

.....was born in 1997. He was 11 last Thursday, so tall & gangly now, heading for well over the 6ft mark methinks!
1998....Himself had his first spinal op, which saved him from crippling sciatica and being wheelchair bound.
1999.....actually, I'm struggling for 1999. The only thing I can think of is that awful 70's space series on tv....
