My New Website!!

Hi Folks,

For the last three months I`ve been beavering away on new samples etc to put on the website.

I`ve decided to drop all of the baby products that I did and move up a notch. Basically, the competition was too high. I wasn`t prepared to attempt to compete with all the personalised baby blankets etc on Ebay and other places. Also so many people copy your ideas on Ebay which really makes me mad!

It`s not finished yet. More things to add and there are some things that need to be tweaked (like the home page!) Husband wants to photograph the sewing studio etc to put on the homepage but before that can be done I need to remove the dead house plants, empty coffee mugs, bras and knickers drying on the radiator etc

The gowns are a joint venture between myself and a friend. They take ages to make so we both work on them at the same time. I can`t claim it`s all my own work!

If anyone has any spare time please could you have a look and see if there`s any glaringly obvious apart frm what I`ve mentioned. There`s a lot of info the Useful Info tab at the bottom such as contact details etc.

Really nice site! well done. beautiful products, clearly displayed.

it's practically perfect,a apart from a few minor amendments.

home page no link back to it from other pages ( well I can't see any!)

and few amendments required as &apos keeps appearing, mostly between words! took me a while to work out what should have been there! an L missing in online(re paypal)
Without exception, each and every one of these items have been designed and constructed with the utmost care and attention.
Personally don't like the word constructed, makes me think of bricks and mortar, not soft blankets etc.., and it should be has not have,

Useful info section

This section blah... were you planning to move this?
Mice simple P&P charges, nice drop down choice, but perhaps mention P& P in info page.

i was just wondering whether there should be a lmit to number of words/leters included in price, and set amount for extra, as someone could ask for absolutely loads embroidered on which would put up your costs.


hope I don't sound too critical! I think it's a fab site, really well laid out, easy and clear to see products ( which are totally gorgeous)good photos etc.., ALL positive, as I sid earlier, nearly perfect! congrats again

Ohhhh, you`ve pointed out some good things there!

Blah....oops. Stil, atleast we removed the bit about dunking my shawls in a bucket of domestos in the care section ;)

Bit concerned about &apos bit as I can`t recreate that but will get my better half to check that out this evening.


Yup, the amount of characters is a valid point...I think I`ll have to see how that goes for the moment.

Its a beautiful site Clare, I really like it and the way its worded and laid out. It has a nice feel about it to me :)

I like the simplicity of the logo and love the pictures you've chosen on the right hand side

I was hard pushed to find any typos for you! Just seen one so far and thats on your pillows section, 1st line the word lovely needs to be corrected
