Help Please!

I've just ordered a Cuttlebug today after researching various die cutting machines.

This is all new (both the forum and using new crafty tools) for me and i was just wondering if anyone has any feedback about this machine - How well it cuts materials such as funky foam or any other handy hints for when it arrives.

I've just recieved the Cuttlebug i purchased and ran it through with a die i got but the die also cut into the B plate :o- I assume this shouldn't happen??:confused:
Is this normal, if my assumptions are correct what have i done wrong?
