Crmartie Kiln

I have just been given a Cromartie Top Loading Kiln, Model CTL 182B. The only problem is that it needs a 50amp supply. I have been told that the power supply can be altered so it will only need a 30amp supply. Can anyone tell me if this so or advice me where I can find out?

Contact chromartie, they are always happy to help. I lost the instructions to my kiln controler when I moved house. I rang them and they sent me a new set despite the fact that the controler is about 15 years old !
