After attending all three of WiREs opening doors sessions, let me say that they are an invaluble resource for any woman about to set up a business, or a fledgling business woman needing advice. The opening doors sessions cover pretty much everything including the dreaded finacial planning ! They are interested in helping you wether it will be your full or part time work and they are always there at the end of the phone. Plus the meetings and seminars are good for socialising and networking.... anyone about to start up give it a go ! :) http://www.wireuk.org/ heres the link take a look.

I wasn't going to look , not being based in the UK, but being a nosey sort , I thought I'd have a peek anyway.Some excellent short articles, useful to anyone anywhere, (tips for selling on ebay, loads of computer business advice) REALLY worth a good look, and even ( for me) links to European sites!

Oooh, sadly there arent any groups in my area, but thanks for the link - guess I could register online for now - it mentions mentoring & training being available if you want to start a local group too!?

Maybe that'll be me one day eh? :)

If anyone is down in Kent I went to a WIRE meeting down here - it is a new group and a lady down this way is just setting it up now. She needs more people and more interest so if anyone else is here in the sunny (eemmmm!!) garden of England then drop me a line!

I attended my 2nd WiRE meeting last night. They're such a lovely bunch of people and the information you can get from the meetings is just great.

They asked me to showcase my goodies last night and I made a few sales and gave out so many business cards ! Everyone was really positive, so I'm hoping that sales through my site will increase soon.

Definitely worth attending a local meeting if you can :)
