Little one is getting through loads of dough at the minute (leaving it out, putting it in the carpet ect..) I remember making it at playschool, but thats many years ago now and i cant remember how to make it. Has anyone got a recipe please?
Thank you.

It's been a few years since I've made it too, but my mind seems to think it consists of 2 cups plain flour, 1 cup salt and I think 1 cup water.... you can make stretchy playdoh by adding yeast. Colour it with food colouring.
Hopefully someone else will have a better idea!

2 mugs of plain flour
2 mugs of water
1 mug of salt
4 tsp of cream of tartar
2 tablespoon cooking oil
food colouring
Put everything in a saucepan and stir
Heat on a medium heat and keep stirring until the mixture begins to form a ball
Shake the saucepan around until the dough is no longer sticky – don’t over cook
Take out and knead the warm dough
Keep in a tightly closed plastic bag
Microwave playdough
200g plain flour
100g salt
2 tsp cream of tartar
1tbsp oil
300ml water and food colouring
Mix ingredients in a bowl suitable for a microwave, put on full power for 1 min
Stir well
Replace bowl and continue cooking for 2-2.5 minutes, stirring after 1 min
The dough will leave the side and becomes stiff
Tip out onto a board (the dough will be very hot) Knead until soft and piable
Keep in a tightly closed bag :)

Hi, I'm new here, and this cursed thing won't let me post a URL yet but may I suggest going to videojug.com and searching for their Playdough film. It worked brilliantly for me and I now have mounds of the stuff for the kids to mess around with. It is the one with the thumbnail of little playdough men, and it is absolutely hilaruious to boot!
