I'm totally new to forums so any tips would be great.
I've been making jewellery for a few years now and have recently set it up as a business. I use sterling silver, crystals, semi-precious stones, pearls and anything else really that catches my eye. I love it!
I hope to eventually attend craft fairs (if I can find any in my area) but at the moment I'm concentrating on the website. The dilemma just now is advertising....I'm a bit unsure as to which routes will likely result in the best return, it's a bit of a gamble really. Learn as I go I suppose.

Also should specify the free delivery over £60 is UK only on the home page, not just in the detailed postage costs!

Overseas postage is a particular beef of mine!:D

Also, why not do as suggested on there by sprinkles, weigh the heaviest item ( with packaging) and work out the cost to Europe, Usa, etc....,
add postage cost to packaging costs and put that on the site.

Then the potential customer knows exactly what the final price would be.

Hey everyone, thanks a lot for all the welcomes and advice.....especially the postage....it's something I've been meaning to do but just haven't got round to it yet, and I have been wrongly assuming that most orders will be from within the uk :confused: ...madness. Will need to get it updated so that it doesn't put anyone off. So thanks for that. And also for the address part...will get that on soon too!
