Jangle Craft Fairs are holding Craft Fairs at Halton Youth and Community Centre. Low Rd, Halton, Lancaster, Lancashire, on Sunday 27th April and Sunday 25th May. Times. 10 - 4. Price £12.00 per table. Electric available.

The centre is very well situated in a highly populated rural area and close to junction 34 off the M6.

All crafter's welcome except jewellery.

Are there any significant differences between this and your Claughton one Michelle? Besides the £2 I mean - the type of visitor, popularity of location, how easy the venue is to find, how long fairs have been established there etc?

Just wondered cos, if I do end up trying Claughton out in April, I still need something for May so wondered if to give Halton a try or do Claughton again if the journey's been OK?

Hi There Shaz.. Lou and Tip Top,

Claughton has been going the longest and is gaining ground quickly, the feb fair was a success in Claughton and is in a very good location on a main rd has a large car park and a well known hall.

However Halton is in a good catchment area. too. Halton is a rural village highly populated. I live in Halton and I know many people who will pass the word for the fairs, inc local, school, bowling clubs, docs surgerys, newsagents all in close vicinity and a population of over 3000. Easy to advertise the fair in Halton. many mothers of kids from local schools are all ready interested to visit and the word will soon spread. I think Halton will be a great success.

More room at Halton as in space in the hall. So really I cannot say .

Cheers for that Michelle, as far as mileage goes theyre so similar for me, I guess I could try Claughton in April and Halton in May and give em both a bash!
