In addition to my recent idea about having my own shop. I also want to get my jewellery seen by more trade buyers. I was wondering if any other midlands jewellery makers would be interested in sharing a stand at one of the trade shows. I was thinking maybe select at Bath (but that may be a bit too late now as its at the end of April) or the big Autumn fair at the NEC (more time to plan for this one). Minimum size stands at Bath are £450 and at the NEC they are £1000. But if there were two or three of us sharing the cost would become more realistic. We could then get some cheap display cabinets (IKEA I think!) and there wouldn't be much else to do I don't think.
It would be a good idea if each person made a different type of style of jewellery. Mine is glass beaded, lots of foil lined glass and hearts.
