** my first CONFIRMED commission! **

Yay, I'm SO chuffed, the lady who wanted me to make a veterans display for her hubbies August birthday has sorted through all his photos & medals now so has given me what I need and told me to GO AHEAD! :D

So, even though I've got a handful of other "yes I want ones" in the pipeline, this is really my first confirmed & booked commission for a reasonable sized framed piece! :)

....I have a little box here with 3 war medals, a lovely B&W photo of the young sailor and another of his ship and his bosun's whistle ready & waiting and I'm SO looking forward to putting them together in something really special for him....just gotta pick the right size frame up asap

.....now THIS is why we do what we do, the anticipation of the finished item, I cant wait to start! :mf:

I'd love it even more if it was! But no, this was a word of mouth order. She's a friend of my stepmum who happened to mention wanting to do something with her hubbie's medals for his 80th birthday so my stepmum showed her my other samples and she's asked for one! :mf:

And yeah, I'm gonna do some before and after photos when I get it started, will show you guys first & foremost!
