View Full Version : Haberdashery Wholesaler
I've found an online haberdashery wholesaler who has a minimum order of £20.
They do 72 metal bobbins for sewing machines for £4.50 !!!
They've got ribbon, buttons etc etc on there....
Have fun!! (how hard can it be to spend £20 ?!?!)

Prices don't include VAT and shipping is £7.00. My £27 order checked out as £40

That the thing with wholesalers - high p&p andyou have to add vat.
don't mean to be rude about there website but there photos look really unprofessional which shocked me TBH.
Nice find though!
Perhaps we ought to open a crafts forum account and share the shipping costs!!

That sounds like a great idea :)
But wouldn't we have to get it delivered to one person then pay for postage to post on?? would still be cheaper though I guess.
It probably wouldn't be any cheaper on postage, but you wouldn't have to spend £20 (plus VAT) per order.
Jules for instance only wants the scissors at £2.25, but if I know Jules she will have managed to spend the minimum amount (!!)
Maybe we should do it for lots of orders??
For example - we all love the fabrics in America (Reprodepot etc), but it's always the shipping that puts me off.....
Maybe something to think about?

Just a quick question about wholesalers. What are the conditions of use? Do I have to be registered as a business? Right now it's just a hobby but as I'm sure your all aware hobbies are expensive. So if I could use wholesale sites that'd be great. Any ideas?
JBJB - loads on that site I could quite happily buy, thanks for the link.
