Ok...so at the start of the year I was ready to jack the whole business thing in...but after a little chat with my business link guy i've decided that maybe I should be branching out a little more into new areas.
Anywho...I want to buy a new kiln (number 5!). Basically, I need to get a larger one so I can produce larger sized wall panels and splashbacks for interiors. Does anyone know of any leads I can investigate to fund it? I've heard about possible Arts council funding? Has anyone else had experience with it?

Couldn't your business link guy offer you any ideas. I know my advisor is a big knowledge of how and where to get money!! He's a real asset!
Good luck with the branching out.

...methinks I should get one of these business adviser dudes!
I have seen a Business Link adviser 2/3 times in the past but I think that's all the visits I was allowed "for free"
Hope your successful in your hunt GK

I have had a few visits from business link in the past which were quite helpful but to be honest most funds centred around me paying a business advisor £1500 to produce a business plan to apply for various schemes which was just ridiculous compared to the amount I was after.
I really don't want to end up owing lots to the bank because if it all goes belly up I don't want to lose my shirt!

This might not be helpful but a friend of mine uses a local FE college to fire his larger work. He runs the odd masterclass in exchange for the the use of their large kiln.
