I'm wanting to make some wedding toppers for my wedding cake and as gifts but although i'm quite artistic at modelling normal air-dry clay i'm wanting one that will last a lifetime but there are so many around i don't know which one to choose.
can anyone help me???

Fimo all the way. If you can model air drying clay then fimo is a breeze and gives great results. Take a look at our gallery to see some examples of the results.

You could also have a look at a couple of our member's websites too as they sell fantastic handmade wedding cake toppers

And if you decide against making them yourself you could always buy one from them ;)

Choice of colour is entirely up to you. Remember they can all be mixed to produce virtually any shade.
Good luck with it. :D

Although you can paint fimo the idea is that you use different colours for the different bits, eg flesh tones for skin, red fro roses, white for a weddigng dress brown for hair etc.

I mix my colours to get the correct shade that I'm looking for so from a few basic colours, you can get a vast selection of different colours.
have pm'ed you back by the way.

I use a selection of either google eyes, beads or clay - it depends on what the customer wants to be honest.
