Just thought I'd share this framed photo of my mum that I've just put on Craftjuice (getting my head round that & Flickr now, woo hoo!) :mf:
I wanted to try out the kaleidescope effect on an old classic wartime B&W image and I was pretty chuffed how it came out. She was beautiful, especially her eyes, and I think it really showcases her in a new way
...now I really should start making some new samples for this Saturday's fair with my new bud Tip Top! Cant wait

Love the photo, my mum is a Vera too, she was only 16 when the war broke out so didn't go into any of the services....danced with a lot of GIs tho!!!

I do love old photos, when I was a kid, I was convinced everyone lived in black & white

Oh that is so lovely!! My Auntie Annie was in the WAF's and looked very much like your mum! I have a lovely old photo of her when she was a similar age to your mum in hers. That is gorgeous, I bet you give it pride of place on your wall. Clever you! Regards. Sue.
