I'm having a blank moment! What do you call the ribbon/cotton tape you use on aprons?? (the ties)

:) Thanks GK ... but not bias binding? That's what you would use around the edges of an apron to cover the raw edges.

I think i'm going mad... it's been on the tip of my tongue all day. And i've eBayed every possible alternative to ribbon/cotton tape :mad:

As soon as I typed twill tape into eBay I remembered - cotton herringbone or twill tape as you said :D:D:D
