Custom Necklace (Enquiry / Assistance)

Hello everyone.

Basically what I want to do is take an existing necklace, then customize it with my own photoshop ideas and have it built by somebody who knows what they are doing. I am not a craftsman so I am incapable of performing the actual crafting part but my photoshopping skills are pretty average.

What I need to know is:

1: Is this actually possible?
2: Who might I need to talk to about it

The jewelry is made of of Fine Pearl and Rhinestone, my obvious contribution is the inclusion of a Swarovski Crystal and slight re-design of the rhinestone layout. The reason im going to all this bother is because my Girlfriend loved the original necklace and recently she has fallen very ill and I want to be able to give her a slightly more unique necklace with a little bit of me in it.

I would love to hear your feedback.

If I were you, I'd find a local jewellery maker and see if they can help. No need to play around with Photoshop, just show them what you want going from the original design.:)
I have a contact in Belfast (BT17) who may be able to help as she runs jewellery making classes.

I don't know where you found the necklace? Could you not get in touch with the person who made it originally and ask them to include your changes and custom make it for your girlfriend?
