I am so so chuffed with my bargain of the day... went into town to buy knitting needles (have the urge to knit at the moment) and had a sudden brain wave about going into one of the charity shops to see if they had any and 'hey presto' the little old lady had a whole stash of them behind the counter - yippeee ! Came away with 7 pairs in all sorts of sizes plus 3 crochet hooks all for £4 !! Feels really good to not only get a bargain but also that it all goes towards the Red Cross...:):):)

p.s. also got some lovely chunky wool in the Dorothy House shop !

Brilliant bargain. We were all watching a set on ebay the other day that sold for over £100.00. They were just a bog standard mixed bunch!

Ohhhh I love charity Shops I went in the Prince of Wales Hospice Shop in Pontefract the other day and bought loads of knitting needles for 35p per pair, a huge bag of wool for 90p and was looking for some tweed to make some cushions and bought a brand new really nice A line skirt in my size with RRP tags reading £30 that cost me £3.25 - far too nice for cushions !!!;)
