Hi

I've just completed a beautiful bookmark, but the backstitch makes the reverse look so untidy. Does anyone have any ideas for covering the reverse?

When I've had bookmark kits, they've always provided a piece of ribbon to attach to the back to hide it all - which for me is great as I'm always making the back messy! I've just carfeully sewn it on in an appropriate colour and sometimes also had a tassle to add to be bottom.

How about some ribbon or felt on the back in a suitable colour
