I've been asked to do a jewellery party for a teenager where they all make something...
I've never done that before and was woundering how much you would charge for that... obviously charge for whatever materials they use but then what about time....
Not sure about it... and what would be easy for them to make?
Any ideas would be appriciated

I do jewellery parties for all ages.
I charge £6.50 per beader. If the party is more than half an hour away (or accross the humber bridge (toll) then I charge a £10+ for travel plus bridge fees if appropriate.
For that they get to create a memory wire bracelet. (for small children I do one and three quarter loops and for teeneagers and adults I do 3 - 4)
Everyone starts with the bracelet as it will space them out. some of them take ages forming an intricate design whilst others jusat grab and shove.
Once a couple of them have finished their bracelet I show them how do close a simple crimp (just a flat nose squash) and then they get their hands on the tiger tail. (children make a single and adults a double strand necklace or a long necklace) Earrings are next. For children I tend to do a keyring instead and the adults get to make a couple of pairs.
The whole party takes about 1.25hrs.
I have so much fun doing parties. They are good advertising. You can hand out leaflets, business cards etc.
I provide little organza bages for the children to take home their creations.
I've been very lucky to have been discovered by the local ladies charity network group as their various chapters have been inviting me one by one!!

What a great idea, mum and dad will pay whatever to have parties, I know I am one. £6.50 sounds good, plus things used. It might be a good idea to chat with parents and let them tell you ehat they want to happen. Then with experience you can get a good feel for it.
Excellent it's so exciting when a new idea comes up. Hurrah

Hello friends, this is not exactly co related to what you are talking about. Actually you can call me a novice craftsman in this field and often people come to me asking for some of my creations so that they can present them to others. Now I am not totally sure if this would be a good ideas as already said I have just commenced the crafting and have to go long before I can consider myself as an expert. So suggest me please.
