...My stuffing skills are sadly lacking. I'm really not sure about this strawberry cushion. Smells lovely though...the photo isn't too good, it's really a very bright pink.
What do you think?

Very sweet - and strawberries are meant to be lumpy and bumpy (like all the best things in life!!)

That's right I had forgotten about that. Just a couple more thousand strawberries to make and you will have used it all up.
Hehe.

Both look great ;) My Dd would love them
How are you getting them scented? Are you adding something to the wadding? or the fabric?

Those two have little pockets of scented wax sewn into the very middles, but the ones I have on the go just now will have the strawberry scented plastic aroma beads in a little cotton pocket deep inside.
I know your wee one would love them, but I have to label them 'unsuitable for children under 3' because of the tiny bits in the middle, which could be harmful if ingested.

They are both very cute and shaped perfectly. Must be quite fidly to make, mind you this is coming from someone who cringes if the kid's say they've lost a button!!

While we're talking about scents, I want to make some of my cupcakes as car fresheners you hang from the mirror. Can you scent felt?

Don't see why not the felt is absorbant (if that is how you spell it). Might affect the colour though but I'm not too sure - and you wouldn't be able to leave it lying on polished surfaces and things - but hey it is a car airfreshner so it shouldn't be on the dash board anyhow.
Cheers.

Try the aroma beads JB, you can buy them in 100g packs from Sensory Perfection and if you buy via the website the p&p is free in UK. SP's gingerbread scented oil is gorgeous too!

wow! I like them both. They look great. I prefer the material of the 2nd strawberry most, but thats just my preference! I wish i could sew! I tried to sew a button back on my coat that fell off, the first time it didnt match up with the hole, the second time it fell off (again). the third time my partner did it for me! lol. that'll teach me for doing woodwork at school instead of textiles! :sm:
