I am a ceramic student currently working with coloured clay.
I use a white stoneware clay with natural oxides added in (for example magnesium dioxide , copper oxide and iron oxides) but I am looking for glaze recipies to use over this clay,( transparent or whites maybe? )...so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Thanks.
:D Im looking for a glaze that will cover the clay.. so far any glaze i use the oxides bleed into it distorting the colours.....?????

So are you leaving areas of the coloured clay unglazed then wanting to glaze bits? Would a coat of white slip help? Is it earthenware or stoneware?
