Ow No I'm back.........

..........at work today after being off on holiday from Christmas Eve.

Didn't really have much of a holiday as my hubby's father was taken ill and he stayed with us until the 1st January when my hubbys cousin who is over from South Africa stayed with us too (he was ill too) so the first day that we didn't have anyone staying with us was Saturday the 5th January so not been on the forum much at all over Christmas and New Year as I have been pretty busy.

But boy am I back to earth with a bang. Back at the day job and 2 weeks worth of work for me to plow through. Ow how I hate January.

Ow, sounds like you were more of a nursemaid during christmas......shame :mummy: and its not easy having to go back to work to catch up either!

Lets hope January goes quick for all of us and in fact I'm soooooo looking forward to the spring and lighter mornings!

Dont work too hard, would be horrid if you yourself got ill after everything else.

Missed you bud !!!! why is it everyone I speak to just now has had a rubbish Christmas and New year...

I'm visiting the hospital every other day . My mum went in to the Victoria Infirmary on Christmas day after only being out a week and my step-dad went in on Hogamany after getting discharged on the 29th Dec...

My mum's now got this nova viris.....

Hi Janice,

I know the amount of people I have heard that have had to take their kids/relatives etc to hospital on Christmas day and then do the same thing again for Hogmanay. It's been pretty miserable for a lot of people and the winter vomiting bug has been a nightmare.

Like the song says things can only get better (well I flippin well hope so).

Hope everyone is on the mend now. I must say that we had a great Christmas for a change - no kids fighting etc, made a nice change :)

It's hard going back to work after a holiday, i've been off since 20th December and i go back tomorrow...............gawd it's gonna be busy with theself assessment deadline approaching fast :mad:
