Just finished this christmas cake topper for somebody.......she wanted an elf sitting on rudolph with parcels scattered around....... you cant see it but he has a sack of candy canes attached to his back.
I love it and wish I'd have had time to make myself one.......LOL.

So cute. Something to keep forever. I would just like it as a decoration.
Only my sister and I like Christmas cake so we only ever get a wee one or we eat all of it ourselves ;)
Cheers Janice

That is lovely (all your toppers are). How is it we make all these lovely orders for customers and never get a minute to make anything decent for ourselves?
Great work again.

That's great! I wasn't expecting to see the elf on top of rudolph before I looked at the picture! :)

Thanks :D I just wish the photographs did my toppers justice.....maybe I should have taken one from the side angle as well and you could have seen rudolphs cute tail and mr elf's bag of candy cane on his back.

Tell me about it!! I've made some (even if I say it myself!) some really lovely Christmas cards this year for special orders and I've ended up sending the 3 for 2 type of cards.....
Must try harder eh??!!:D

Thanks :D.........err to be honest, I really started the christmas cake topper a few weeks ago inbetween my bride and groom toppers (because I knew there was no real rush for it)........so never really noticed how long it took me.
I guess, if I sat and just did that particular topper, it could take at least a couple of days.
There are so many pieces that are built up from raw to baked clay and each time it goes in the oven, it can take up to 40 minutes!
Put it this way, I did that as a special favour and the price that was paid for it was nowhere near the time spent on it......but the main thing is I enjoyed doing it!
