Ok so my new favourite medium to use is chalks on my cards but I am worried about them rubbing off - is there a way of setting them?
I seem to remeber using hairspray at school - but im not sure this is right ?

cheep hairspray... the cheeper the better as it is the laquer that sets the chalk. the more expensive hairsprays contain less.
it also works for news print and charcole drawings.

You can get spray fixative with a diffuser but it is expensive, so I always used the cheapest hairspray possible when I was studying Art at college.
Si.
Just posted this link on another thread, but they might have what you need too?
