With all the old posts that suddenly seem to be appearing due to people not reading the dates, is it possible to have the thread starter able to close the thread once they have found the information they needed?

Its not common that old threads come up... Most people use "New posts" link at the top...

wasnt sure why that other thread was closed when lots of people on here talk about etsy, ebay etc, isnt that promoting them too? just thought it was a bit odd.

it was wonky toad wanting some info about craft market corner which is probably like another ebay/etsy and it was closed as you said it was promoting that website.

Asking for info on their own site...

People can be very deceiving which is the job of the mod's and myself to try and get stop...
