Large hole in bead problem

I have a dilemma...

...basically I have bought some fish beads but the holes through them are quite large. I want to use them to make mobile phone charms but the hole is too large for a head pin and I have tried to put a smaller bead on the bottom first but it doesn't look right.

Any suggestions of what I could do?

I have not tried this as I usually have the opposite problem with holes being to small!!! However, I read on a website somewhere to use a smaller bead inside the bead with the large hole. If you can make this work then you'll have to let me know how you managed it!!!

The other alternative is beadcaps or beadcups - these I have used a lot!
