Took me ages to find all the documents last night .. Ahhhh...

Im trying to learn from my dad, he has seperate folders for things, house, cars, insurance etc.
For my birthday I asked for and recieved 5 box folders, as you can imagine only my business info is nicely placed in its own folder, all my other documentation is higgledy piggledy in a draw, I have 4 empty box folders just sat around....doing nothing.

Isnt it funny how the po staff are the picture of efficiency (ie they notice that it's last years certificate) when you least want them to be hehe

I had a similar tale to tell - well not with the post office. My car window got smashed at my work a couple of weeks ago (dirty rotten bar stewards that they are). Took the car with all the documents up to get it done. It was then that they pointed out that my MOT was up in August - oooppppssss.

Cheers.

Right my day has now got FAR worse..

Today was a day of sorting thing out..

>> car tax..
Messed the up..

>>bulldog boardband
Sent my money from a over paid a/c to my old address.. Over £100 too :(

>> EGG..
omg ... this is bad.. i'm really pi**ed off with them... 8 weeks ago I phoned and ordered my statements to be sent to me for my accountant.. It cost £10 and saves me printing them every month..
So 8 weeks on and no statements.. So I phone up and get told I can't do it over the phone... I have to do it online.. But you can't... I told them that you can't do it online due to the statements only upto 1 yr old!! ahhhh

I really need a beer! :horse:

..forget the beer Mr M...go straight for the shots.

I hope your day gets better.

Mine has just been grey, wet and terminally boring, despite having shedloads to do for Bath on Saturday.

My latest email to egg

Thanks I've found the form..

Filled it in .. Then writen a cheque.. Found a envelope .. Gone to the post office .. And sent you guys the info..

All of that in this day and Age seems crazy... As every other bank including yourselves allow customer to phone and request simple things like a print statement...

Sorry it just seems so backwards...

......Threaten them with solicitors letters! Or write to the banking ombudsman.

A couple of years ago, my phone stopped working. It cost a mint to phone bt from my mobile, but that was I could do.

They mucked me about something rotten. So I sent them a very strongly worded letter saying I wanted my telephone fixed immediately and that they had seven days in which to do it. I told them I worked from home and that my phone was essential. And that using my mobile to conduct my business was costing me an awful lot of money.

It took them 16 days to fix the phoneline (after numerous promises) so I sent them a bill for my mobile charges, and my time spent chasing them. It came to over £149 and..........they paid it!
