Hi all just a quick line to introduce myself. My name is Mandy (in case you hadn't guessed;). I live in no so sunny Aberdeen and my main craft that I love doing is crocheting. At the moment I'm busy crocheting dolls outfits for my daughter's christmas, she is going to have the best dressed dolls in Aberdeen by the time I'm finished :p
I enjoy trying my hand at other crafts, I won't profess to be that good at many of them but am willing to give them a try. I used to go to a craft group every week but since I started studying with the OU I haven't had the time  I've tried my hand at making candles, jewellery, cards, fun and fancy, decoupage which I really enjoyed and decorated a picture frame for my niece one christmas and even helped to paint a mural in the community centre that the craft group is held in.
My favourite things to crochet are baby outfits and hats, I have loads of them in my house and no babies to give them to so most of them end up on my daughter's dolls. I also went into a frenzy of crocheting scarves last month to put into christmas presents for all the females.
My daughter is also craft mad and we've got her a child's potters wheel as part of her christmas so can't wait to get started on helping her with that.
