Arrgghhhh - my dishwasher is not working  It seemed to stop mid cycle yesterday so I left it switched on overnight and it hasn't done anything else since and it's now stuck on that cycle. Switching it off at the wall hasn't helped and I've cleaned the filter and that hasn't done anything. It did the rinse and then stopped because the dishes have been rinsed but the tablet hasn't yet come out. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with it? Do you reckon kicking it will work??

Is the water emptying from the dishwasher okay? Or if the dishwasher tablet is still in the dispenser is any water getting in at all.
If the water isn't getting out it could be that the outlet hose is blocked with gunk cause mine did this. If the water isn't getting into the machine is there a kink or something in the hose going into the machine.
Not much use but hope it helps.
Cheers.

Replace it and get a dishwasher like our one. It's been reliable for years, never broken down and gets everything spotless. It also decorates wooden items for craft fairs and contributes to craft forums...

I had thought about the water in and water out but it's one that's fitted so I can't get round the back to have a look - not even sure what I would be looking for to be honest! There are pipes and things under the sink so I'll have a little look later

Weve never had a dishwasher, maybe in the next 50 years.
Doe sit have something to do with a build up of limescale, theres always a dodgey looking guy on the TV giving examples of how it can build up.

I think it's the water inlet pipe to be honest - I'll get Mr Swirl to have a peek at it at the weekend.
