...love the colours, they give it such an up-to-date look, especially the denim blue.

Crochet is so trendy now, and I've never mastered it.

As I type Anya is sitting on the chair with the crocheted blanket that my mum made when she was pregnant with me wrapped all around her, and Tara's blanket is on the floor having been the teddy's bed this morning! My sister and my mum crochet and knit and I have never learned - I must learn.

I agree with them being much better than shop bought ones - when I go out with them on the buggy I get lots of compliments and I didn't even make them!

hehe i love it to b honest,,,,find it real relaxing....this is the 2nd 1 iv made for my best friend, the first one, made wen she had her son in may, a baby blanket in pale greens & yellows (pram size) & she was soooo happy with the quality she now wants a bigger one to last him longer lol

Oh and they will last a long time - the one my mum crocheted when she was pregnant with me is now 30 years old and my girls love playing with it and I must admit if it gets a bit cold I'll sit on the sofa snuggled up underneath it!

Really nice! My mum made me some blankets like that when I was expecting my two and its great when I went out with the pram because I knew that no-one else would have the same blankets!!:D
