There was sleet mixed with rain when I was driving home here in Suffolk tonight but no snow, so so cold and horrible though.

It snowed here for about 3-4 hours last night. Woke up this morning though nd its mainly mush...there goes the hope that school is closed today then :mad:

I attempted an assault on Schehallion about 2 weeks ago, it started snowing when we were 100 yards out of the carpark (i.e. at the bottom of the hill)

The others went to the top where it was allegedly very very cold (however, clear at the top with lovely views). Me, I decided I was too unwell to finish the hill so at the half way point, trundled back to the car and had a sleep whilst waiting for them all to come back.

It was very pretty, especially from the warmth of the car!

We had a fair bit of snow in Mid Wales but am pleased to say the only bit left was on the cars this morning.

I know how you feel Anice - being from Glasgow always get pigging snow - sorry I know most people love it but when it snows up here it flippin well snows and I really hate trying to get to my work in it!!!

I love the snow at Christmas though when I don't have to go anywhere - let the kids make snow angels until they start to turn blue!!!

We had snow when I went to bed but it all melted overnight. Shame as I could have escaped the project students otherwise!
