Hi there people
I'm Dan

I'm 23, 6'1" have long dirty blonde hair, and live in cambridgeshire with my girlfriend and 21 fish.

I used to work with computers, but I didn't really like it very much so I quit. I'm now making stuff and trying to sell it.

Most of my work is made using reclaimed plywood, and although I make all sorts of other things, (woodturning/metalwork etc) but haven't tried selling any of that yet.

Difficult to describe my things, and i tried to post a picture, but it wouldn't let me because i'm new, so if you want to see it then you'll have to look at my website, which you can find in my signature.

I'm pretty new to selling stuff though, (although I've been making things since before I could talk) so i guess i'm here for advice and discussion on the business side of things and to find out about fairs and other outlets etc.

Also be particularly interested to meet other crafters who work in and around cambridgeshire.

Don't know what else to say by way of introduction really. but if you'd like to know anything else then just ask.

Hi Dan,
Welcome to the forum. I love the large splodge clock - it's fab. I also use a lot of reclaimed objects in what I make - it's nice to have a fellow recycler on the boards!

Thanks
I passed your welcome on to the fish, but to be honest they didn't seem to take much notice really. Most rude of them I thought. Maybe I'll give them some extra food later instead, they'll probably appreciate that more.

Hi Dan, (welcome) to the forum from a girl with a BF, border collie and a hamster...not quite as interesting then!!!

I don't know, I think a border collie and a hamster trumps 21 fish. I certainly think the fish would lose in a fight.

They might lose against the hamster, but not the border collie - she is scared of the hamster!!!!
